You can access San Ramon conveniently on the Inter-American highway midway between San Jose and the Pacific port of Puntarenas. Most of San Ramon is less than 45 minutes away from the Juan Santamaria International airport. Living in San Ramon lets you enjoy many of Costa Rica's top tourist attractions, you and your visitors will never lack for fun things to see and do.

Since San Ramon is a regional center, you can enjoy the excellent

Main crops are coffee, ornamental plants, vegetables, and sugar cane. Many of the popular upscale areas in Costa Rica are located close to poverty stricken urban areas, which means that the expat population is overly concerned with crime and security.  San Ramon is a rural area with a strong local economy and large working class and middle class population.
